Research: “Modeling the Informational Relationships Between Government and Society” is a new paper prepared for an upcoming workshop by The Research Foundation of State University, New York. The papers describes “the value of an information polity perspective as an approach to broadening and sharpening understanding of the nature of open government initiatives in a holistic way.” It also provides illustrative examples and uses system dynamic modeling methods.
Aid Transparency/Data: The Brookings Global Economy and Development Program has launched a new “interactive” featuring data on development, aid and governance. The Development, Aid and Governance Indicators (DAGI) include trends in foreign assistance, governance, and global poverty and middle class populations.
