UN Survey: United Nations Public Administration Country Studies is preparing a database on “conventional and emerging topics related to public administration,” including FOI Acts, data protection acts, budgetary information, and financial disclosure by government officials. Climate Change:Towards Climate Finance Transparency,” a paper jointly published by aidinfo and Publish What You Fund, written and researched by Maya Forstater with editorial support from Rachel Rank. Among  its conclusions: “Currently information systems on climate finance are patchy. Consistent definitions and standards of reporting are lacking and the information is not made available in a way that allows it to be easily gathered and used. Given these gaps and inconsistencies, there are already several processes underway to revise, improve and standardise coverage, both within and alongside UNFCCC processes.” The report includes a variety of recommendations.

Aid Transparency:UNOPS has become the first organization to publish fully geocoded information about its activities in the International Aid Transparency Initiative (IATI) open data format, supporting efforts to use development funds more efficiently.”
