FreedomInfo.org has posted a list of 97 websites containing news about FOI developments, nationally and internationally.
To qualify for this list, the blog or website needs to be pretty active and significantly focused on the subject of access to information whether it is called freedom of information (FOI), right to know (RTK), right to information (RTI).
This is not a list of all websites with good background information, or of advocacy sites which publish mainly their own press releases. These are wonderful, and FreedomInfo.org links to most of them on FreedomInfo.org on pages devoted to specific countries.
Rather, this list includes the most active online sources of news and opinion – international, national and even for states and provinces.
This list also does not yet account for listserves, Facebook pages and other sources of information.
Suggestions are invited. Write to freeinfo@gwu.edu
