The United Nations Human Rights Committee has released a revised version dated May 3 of its proposed General Comment 34 on the Article 19, incorporating the changes made so far.

The sections already reviewed by the committee include those on freedom of information, paragraphs 18-20. (See previous FreedomInfo.org report.)
The committee completed its second reading of paragraphs 1-24 of its new 54-paragraph General Comment 34, and will continue deliberations at its next meeting, in July.
